gallery front end upload permissions

  • I have a bespoke user role created whereby users can upload a gallery to there profile via a front end form.
With the ACF plugin The media uploaded goes directly to the media library and all users and roles can view and edit them.
I don’t want any other role to edit the images in the admin library.
Only the user that uploaded the files should be able to edit those images on the front end..

Is there a way to either control the upload path ( so they are invisible to admin and editors or selectable /sectioned off somehow)
I can see you have reccomended ‘members’ plugin which I have installed and I am using for another purpose, however this cannot control permissions of the gallery images as far as I can gather. My site is already very plugin heavy ..so I was hoping ACF could cope with this within it’s functionality?
    Any guidance much appreciated.
    thanks!
