Thank for pointing this out.

I have passed this to the developer so that he can fix the issue.

The code should be something like this:

$image_ids = get_field('gallery', false, false);
$shortcode = '[gallery ids="'.implode(",", $image_ids).'"]';
echo do_shortcode($shortcode);
