I displayed a fields group with acf_form for the users to interact with content from the front-end but some strings are in english (website is all configured in french, no translating plugin).
For example the post_title is labelled “Title”, post_content is labelled “Content”, while every other strings are in french like they should. Any idea on how to fix this? Did I miss something from the docs or something?
I also have a “Related post” field and the status is displayed in english too: “(pending)”.
This is probably because not all strings are correctly translated. You need to contact the developers https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/contact/. If they no longer have someone doing the french translation then you might be able to help them if you are familiar with updating translation files.
I’m familiar with translating plugin etc and I’m willing to help but the source is not open for the plugin. I’ll contact the dev to see if that can be fixed in any way.

I do not know how the new owners of the plugin are handling translations. Eliot use to give translators access the the Pro GitHub Repo. Also there is a GitHub Repo for the free version: https://github.com/AdvancedCustomFields/acf
