Flexible Content with rules

Hi, with field groups you can determine what page, post, tag, category etc it shows up on. It would be great if there was the same functionality with the flexible content layouts so that the flexible content dropdown is slightly bespoke for different pages?

Currently i can’t find a way to achieve this. I think this would be a really good feature as then pretty much all custom field editor boxes could live in the flexible content dropdown and then content could be easily reordered on each page too by simple dragging the flexible content layers.

If anyone knows of a way to create this solution i would be eternally grateful.

Thanks a lot for the feedback.

In order to achieve the same experience, I believe you can create a field group containing only the flexible_field. Using the field group settings you can then define where the flexible field shows up.
