Flexible content: "Set layout selection order"

Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a “Sort order”, to modify the order the layouts appear in here (when selecting a new layout to add):

A setting at the bottom of the “flexible content” block, with other general settings? (Here:)

Just a few basics:

• Default (as set in field) this is how it is currently
• Inverse (exact opposite of default)
• Alphabetical A-Z
• Alphabetical Z-A

I’ll mark this for the developer to look at when he has time. You can reorder the layouts by dragging them to the order you want and I think they’ll appear in that order where you mention.
