Flexible Content Field Won't Save

I’m having an issue with flexible content fields not saving.

On some pages they will save and on some they won’t.

When I click update it simply refreshes with blank fields. I’m running this on my local wamp server.

Could it be a php issue?

do you have a very large amount of data to save at once?

there was a conflicting error with other custom field data being in the post. not sure why but deleting it fixed the issue.
