Filter by Taxonomy disappears

When I create a Relationship field and attempt to Filter by Taxonomy, the selected filters disappear once the field set is saved.

More importantly, the previously selected filters are no longer available from the dropdown, meaning that they can not be removed from the filter set. I also can not confirm that the filters work correctly within the admin either when the relationship field is actually displayed.

Can anyone else confirm this bug?

Were the developers able to replicate this issue? Was it corrected in 5.2.9?

I can confirm that ACF 5.3 resolved this issue. Thanks for the quick fix!
