Field visibility issue with conditional cloned fields inside flexible content

I’ve a flexible content field that has a component that allows user to create an inverse column block (alternate text and image)

The cloned field group isn’t that complex (the cloned content field is just a single wysiwyg field with media upload disabled):

But the way it behaves is interesting:

As you can see from the gif, the first “checkbox” controls both Column 1 and Column 2, but Column 2 “checkbox” controls only Column 2.

I’m on the latest version which is 5.5.14 at the time of writing.

I think I’ve isolated the problem a bit.

I’ve the following field group

When I add it to a flexible content layout field twice using Clone field, the first one is controlling the second too:

I tried adding a field in between to separate them (has worke with similar issues in the past) without much luck. If there are multiple instances of the flexible layout on the same page, the bug is the same in each one.

It doesn’t seem to matter if the clone fields are prefixed or not.
