When I create any custom field inside the group layout it does not appear. Note – the active button is checked. What am I missing? By the way, if I create the same field outside the group it appears in the search.
You’re going to have to supply more information. What do you mean it “does not appear” Where are you expecting it to appear that it is not? What do you mean “It appears in the search”?
Hi John, Thanks for your Response. Well, I am creating a listing website and I have created a template (single post) by Elementor Pro, where I connect the ACF field information to create the listing. Now I see only those fields that are not in any group (layout). For example, I created a group for social media links, in that group added three URL fields, but when I tried to add them in the template, they did not appear in the search (key field). Please let me know if need more information.
This is not an issue with ACF. Elementor does not work with group fields, they are not supported. https://elementor.com/help/elementor-acf/#custom-acf-fields-we-support
If you want to use elementor then you must stick to fields that are supported or build custom shortcodes to use fields that are not supported.
