Field Name is a bunch of code instead of a name

  • When I enter a field name for a custom Field I get a bunch of code instead of the name that I give it.

    AFC field name issue

    I am using WordPress 4.7 and ACF Pro 5.5.2.

    What is happening and how do I fix it?

    It seems there’s something on your site that is modifying the query. Could you please try to reproduce the issue on one of the WordPress’ stock themes (like Twenty Sixteen) with other plugins deactivated? If it disappears, then you can activate the theme and plugins one by one to see which one causes the issue.
