Field Groups missing after upgrading to JSON

I’ve recently upgraded to version 5, and have enabled the JSON feature.
The custom fields still show up on my post editing screens, however when I go to the Custom Fields editor my field groups are missing, preventing me from make any change using the interface.

Any idea of what might be happening?

Sorry, I missed James answer. I’ve stopped using the acf-json files for sync so Im not sure what went wrong, neither im able to replicate the issue now.
