Field group location – parent

It would be great to take the parent option one step further and have it mean parent, grand-parent or great-grand-parent etc.

Another words, having the option to specify that the field group should display if the page/post is under a certain page, no matter how many levels up that page is.

It would also be useful to have a specific ‘grandparent’ option (to intentionally skip a level, which is useful when you have landing pages).

Totally, thanks for the idea.
For now, if you need this for a project, you can find a tutorial on the docs page to create the custom location rule yourself.

I’ll add this into the future.
