Field group generated with code in plugin isn't visible in admin

I have created a field group (ACF PRO), generated export code, placed it into plugin and this works. Now I would like to customize this field group, change something, add new fields etc but nothing shows in admin. Is it possible to allow for this field group to be visible in admin so I can customize it in there without directly touching the code? Maybe so I can redo some fields easily and place it again in plugin.

Thanks for the post!

I am afraid that this is standard behavior, field groups registered via code are not visible on the ACF admin UI.

This comes in handy for theme authors who would not like the end users to modify any of the custom field settings.

The alternative would be to register the fields via the admin UI.
