Feature Request: Read From .json

Would it possible to use the data from the .json in the acf-json folder instead of the database? I use Migrate Pro to keep databases in sync. It’s great if you never have to pull down the database, but as soon as you do all the fields in the local DB are removed.

Is there a major technical hurdle to just use the .json files when using the edit/create screen?

This is a feature I hope to add in soon (complete json / no DB).

The hurdle is difficult, but not impossible. Stay tuned for anouncements
