HI! I have been using this plugin for a couple of years now, it has always been great!
I have a custom field to place name of author in my website. Here is an example of that:
http://revista-amauta.org/2014/01/un-presidente-que-defienda-una-costa-rica-limpia/
Where it says:
“Por: Mónica Araya
Foto: Escultura de Francisco Zúñiga, Museo de Arte Costarricense, patio exterior.
costaricalimpia.org”
Thats my custom field at the top of my article.
Here is my question:
Once I updated the plugin, Facebook is pulling the custom field INSTEAD of an excerpt of the body of the article. BEFORE I updated the plugin Facebook ONLY pull the article excerpt and excluded the custom field with the author… how I get it to work like it used to.

Facebook can be very unpredictable in what it decides to use as the description it shares to its users.
The best way to get it to be consistent is to use the Open Graph description meta tag.
