Excerpt field is suddenly missing in articles

Hi,

I’m new her with that great Plugin!
I have a small problem.
I want to set some text into the Excerpt in an article field but I can’t see the filed in the article. Even under the screen options I can no longer see or select it.

When i deactivate the ACF Plugin this Excerpt field is visible.

Any Idea?

Check the field group settings and make sure that excerpt is not selected under “hide on page” settings.

That was the problem, It was in hidden in the ACF settings.
