I just updated an old site using ACF Pro to the latest version of WP. After that when I tried to update ACF Pro the update failed (the update for the ACF repeater plugin was successful). I get this error message when I visit the site:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class acf_field_repeater in /home/vl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/acf-repeater/includes/4-0/acf-repeater-field.php on line 1118
I haven’t really stayed up to date with ACF or WP in general so maybe something isn’t supported anymore. I have a backup but would easier to just try and fix it.

the repeater add on is not required if you are using ACF Pro, remove the add on.
