Equivalent to (has_post_thumbnail()) ?

I’m editing a template which has an if-case regarding the post thumbnail…<?php if (has_post_thumbnail()) :?>
I want this with an own field called “my-image”.
How should I write it? I know the “get_field” but is there a similar short phrase for checking “if has”?

get_field() is all there is for checking a value. Once of the good things about ACF is that there are a limited functions you need to remember.

If there is not value it will return null, false or and empty string, all of these are == false in php

if (get_field('my-field')) {
  // field has a value
  // do something
}
