Edit images in Gallery / Image field on a copy, not a original image?

Is any way to crop, resize itp. images in Gallery or Image field, but at the same time creating a copy of the edited file? For eg. if I’m adding image in field A and I crop it, I would like to use the original image in other field without changes.
