I’ve set up a Field Type: File with the name site_plans_upload. Then, I used this code to display it one page:
<a href="<?php the_field('site_plans_upload'); ?>" >Download File</a>
The link displays on page, but when I click, it takes me to a bad link: http://gfwoodswpengi.wpengine.com/private-content-page/4042,%20,%20adventure,%20,%20,%20application/pdf,%20http://gfwoodswpengi.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/adventure.pdf
I simply want that link to either download the PDF or go directly the PDF in the browser. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I figured this out. This could’ve been my issue. When setting up field, I selected File URL instead of File Object for Return Value. This solved my issue!
