Don't / option not to group Relationship posts by Post Type

We have a massive amount of posts on the site we use ACF PRO. Journalists want to see the latest posts, regardless of their Post Type, in the list of posts displayed on the Relationship field.

Since the field forces the results to be visually grouped by Post Type, and there is no way to disable this in the settings or via filters, it basically shows a huge list of normal posts before being able to reach other post types.

Would be helpful to either
– Disable this grouping, since I don’t see a big case in favor of it
– Give an option of enabling/disabling it on the settings
– Give an option of enabling/disabling it via filters
