Docs ACF v4?

Hi,

I can’t find the documentation to ACF v4.. Are they still available?

Most of the documentation where there is a difference between ACF4 and 5, there is a select box where you can select the version to get the correct documentation. For example, on this page https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/acfsave_post/ if you look at the top of the right sidebar.

Ah I see, thanks. And the article about this hook also should have describe an alternative i think:

Especially in this case:

I would like to register fields on a hook. How should i go about this?

It does appear that some of the documentation for ACF4 is no longer available. There really isn’t anything that I can do about that. The best I can do is to say that if you have a question about ACF4 to post the question here and someone will do there best to help you. If you do that you should include the fact that you’re using ACF4, that will speed things up.

Hopefully, the long awaited release of a free version of ACF 5 will happen eventually.

Can Elliot maybe put the v4 docs back online somewhere?
Anyhow, let’s hope the free version will be there soon!
