Displaying the content of a Field on a single WP Page

  • Hello everybody,
I seeked for an answer through lots of documents, Threads and the FAQ but didn’t find an answer.

This is what I have done so far:
    – I generated a Field Group “What’s New”
    – Within that Group I generaded a Custom Field “Extra Information”
    – Under Location I set this field for Type “Post”
All other Settings remain by default.

Now, I want, that the content of that field is shown on the visitors frontend on a single static Page of WordPress, but I don’t know how to do that.
I cannot change the template or something like that; It should just be shown on that one single page within the other content.

    How to do that?

    Kind regards

  • ACF does not provide anything to show the content of fields on the front of the site. To do this you need to edit templates or otherwise provide code that is used in templates.

For simple fields ACF provides a shortcode that can be added to content editors https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/shortcode/
