Display previously hidden metaboxes

Hi there! I’m having a problem.

For my field group i clicked to hide the post thumbnail meta box. (worked!)
After a while I decided I WANT the post thumbnail meta box to appear. So I went back to group settings and removed the mark.

But post thumbnail is not showing up. Neither are any of the other boxes I removed when I first created the field group.

Any changes I make to visibility of meta boxes are saved in the options but have no effect on my editor screen.

Any Ideas?
