Default Gallery Image

Hi,

We are using the Gallery Field plugin and wondering if there was a way to have a default image if we make the field non mandatory and people don’t add an image.

Hi @cosmicfantasia

It is not possible to have a default value for teh gallery field, but you can easily write some code in your template to test the value, and if no value exists, display a static image (or any other HTML)

Check out the code examples and ‘hide empty values’ tutes to see how an ‘if’ statement works.
