Date/datepicker addon

Hello,
I have a website which is using
https://wordpress.org/plugins/acf-field-date-time-picker/
As datepicker (with old ACF).

Thing is that I’ve saved date as d.m.yy MM DD format – now since ACF has its own datepicker it’s saving as YYYYMMDD.

After updating to ACF 5+ and removing this old datepicker addon all dates of saved posts are wrong.

Is there any way I can convert them to work with new ACF?

When I switch date field to normal text field I see proper date eg.
16.12.2018 Grudzień niedziela
(d.m.yy MM DD format)

But when turning to datepicker field i see current day in this field (26/03/2019)
