Customer to enter text in the frontend

Hi,

I believe the plugin should enable me to allow customers to enter/input text in a text field box in the frontend. What I really want is that my customers should enter some text in the frontend.
I have tried hard to do this but I didn’t get it.
I will appreciate your advice on how to achieve this.
