I updated WP SEO on a clients site and no custom fields are showing on any page. There are there in the back end.

(I have a back up today but that was done after wpseo update so that doesn’t show the content)
Rather than rolling back I would like to solve the issue if possible.
I have disabled all plugins except custom fields and the issue persists.
Any suggestion on where to start?
