Custom Field Data Not Showing on Posts

Hi there!

I’m working with ACF and set up a bunch of custom data fields. I have a sidebar php file that I’ve set up to pull those custom fields with <?php the_field(“{name}”); ?> and nothing is showing up on the site. All the fields are blank. I’ve gone through the documentation several times and I’m not seeing anything that I’m missing. Is there another block of code I need to put somewhere else to enable this to work?

If it helps, it doesn’t work without ACF syntax either. If I use get_field everything is blank as well.
