Hi,
I use the advance custom field for all the backend and i see that when i search terms with the searcher wordpress there are no results.
I use the plugin Search Everything too and it’s fine but i need to show the portion of text that has been searched, like excerpt. It’s that possible?
I try the Relevassi plugin but no luck…it doesn’t work on my theme or i don’t know how to do acf searchable.

I’ve been doing some searches related to this an I have not been able to find anything. I think I know what you’re looking for, but I can’t find anything that will do it.
I tried this search in google and there were others looking for it, but it does not appear that they actually found anything wordpress show excerpt that includes search terms
You’d basically need to get all the fields and content from each post, search each one again for the search words and build your own custom excerpt. I be looking at search plugins and asking the authors, maybe asking them to add it. Seems like a lot of work otherwise. I’m sure I could do it if I had a few days…. of possibly weeks.
