I have read and can easily perform basic searches against what I would call the more normal ACF properties such as text/number boxes and even some of the pro fields such as the repeater. This was based by following this document: http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/query-posts-custom-fields/
However I have yet to find documentation that explains how to return a recordset of posts matching an address string or geocode coordinates in the google map property.
Surely someone must have done this?
Hi ARkid77,
I have been trying to do something similar. I have a separate php function that does the geocoding (lat, lon & geohash). Yes, I prefer to use geohashing versus “great big circle” sql algorithm. I have done php and other dev for the past 10+ years but this is the first wordpress.
My thought was to create a custom field for all this custom data but I have to figure out how to “save” it in the database for child sub-fields. Could probably do easier outside the “repeater”. Since no answer here on my question I have resorted to other tools and will probably wind up with a CPT in gravity forms instead.
Best of luck,

Hi @arkid77
Were you able to implement the functionality on wordpress?
Kindly share with us some details on how you were able to achieve it.
Thanks in advance.
