Creating A Field Group Using PHP

I am working on a plug-in that will be using ACF. Part of it, I wanted to know if there is a way when the plugin is installed for it to create a field group and custom fields within that group. Best case scenario, the fields will be dynamically created, and if not, it would be fine, if I could export a json file and just import it using php.

Any Ideas? I have seen Local Field Groups, but I don’t really understand that, and I don’t think that is what I am looking for. Any ideas?

Hi, i am working on the same thing, but did not find a solution.

@joshuaiz thanks for the link , i pasted the exact code in my function.php and nothing happened, how do i call that function ?
