Create relationship fields similar as "posts to posts"?

Hi, is it possible to create fields similar to the plugin “posts to posts”.
Mainly adding extra fields to the connections. For example Actors and Movies, the extra field would be the roles the actors played in the movies. See the attachment for picture example.

You should be able to achieve this using the post object field.
