CPT Attachment Fields

I want to add a field to all attachments on a CPT post only.
Is this possible?

It seems when I add the ‘Post Type’ location in the field group, it doesn’t work (see attached screenshot).
But if I don’t add a ‘Post Type’, this then applies to media attachments EVERYWEHRE.

I basically want an option to choose an image shape (square/rectangle) for the Portfolio Image gallery.

Can’t be done. The image attachment is not of the post type portfolio, it is post type attachment.

What you would need is something along the lines of “parent post type is equal to portfolio” and nothing like this exists in ACF. It may be possible to create a custom location rule for this.
