Hi
i created a dropdown selector that list my taxonomies and i’d like to add a conditional logic on a term.
My list is : Taxonomy1, Taxonomy2…, Other
I need a blank text field appears if we select Other.
Thanks
if needed i can add precisions, i don’t know if my request is very clear…
please anybody knows how to add a blank textfield “OTHER” to a dropdown ??
The first screenshot is about the select field with its taxonomy choices. Watch out the Conditional Logic Setting on screenshot 2 wich is from the text field. The text field should placed below the select field.
Thanks a lot for your answer, but i don’t understand …
For the field type, i don’t use a SELECT, but a TAXONOMY (relationnal) in order to list my custom taxonomy dynamically.
If you SELECT can do that, i can use it but i don’t see how…
thanks
I gues, it is not possible to use a field type taxonomy at an conditional logic of another field.
You may can us an extra field of type true / false for “other” wich can be used at the conditional logic of a text field to toggle.
I’ve needed this as well, so I created a custom field setting which allows for conditional logic based on taxonomy. Give it a try when you get a chance.
