Combining parts of two data fields

Hi,

I‘m quite new in ACF but did some custom fields now which are working.

Now I wonder if its possible to combine parts of 2 fields. I have 2 data pickers which are representing a start and end date (date_start and date_end). So if I chose f.e. 25th of September as start until 27th of September. Is it possible to display like

25–27
September

And is it also possible to let the 2nd feel empty (just setting a start date) and display

25
September

(without the Minus and 27?)
