Hi, I’ve got a bunch of custom posts with each one having exactly one image (in an Image field) attached to it. I now want to have multiple images (with the Gallery field) for each post.
Can I simply change the current Image field in ACF to a Gallery field? Will that make the existing image the first image of the new Gallery field?
Or will this bug out? I don’t really want to risk having to re-add all the existing images.

From what I know by looking at the gallery field code, my guess is that changing an image field to a gallery field will set the current image as the first image in the gallery.
However, I have not tested this theory, so I can’t say for sure.
