Cant access "Edit Page" function in Wp-Admin

Hi, we’re having an issue where we can’t access the edit page function for pages that are using the advanced custom fields plugin. It just hangs, and then gives a response of Inactivity Timeout
Description: Too much time has passed without sending any data for document.

The problem is removed when the ACF plugin is deactivated, however we obviously need the plugin to work to show the content.

Any suggestions?
