Cannot get my fields to show?

Hi,

I’m using the ‘I love it’ theme and am looking to place 3 custom fields to the ‘Add Post’ section.

This is a page where the user uploads a video/picture and description etc to the website.

At the bottom of this page I would like to add 3 custom fields.

Therefore I have created a field group which contains 3 custom fields.

I then went to ‘export’ to get the php code and pasted it into the functions.php of the theme.

But nothing is happening?

I see the custom fields in the wordpress backend but the theme uses it’s own user backend which is generated from correctly labelled blank wordpress pages.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I am also having the same problem. I can see all my fields populated on the back end when editting a Post but they won’t show up in Preview or even after being Published. I imported the fields from another site (of a business partner) using the WordPress import XML format. I’m not sure how to go about getting the fields to show up, can someone please point me in the right direction?

I am using the Point Theme
Wordpress Version 4.0
