When creating a new file attachment field, you have the option to “only show files uploaded to post”.
This works well within an article or other post type.
But when showing on a user profile, it shows all posts uploaded to any user profile ever.
Is this by design, not possible to link an attachment and a user ?
Uploads cannot be attached to a user. Uploads are attached to posts by using the post_parent value of the post. This does not exist for users.
