I’m having an issue where I’m getting a blank screen in the editable content area when editing a page or post. When ACF is deactivated, it is normal. I’ve tried the twentyseventeen theme with same issue.

It seems there’s a conflict on your site. Could you please try to reproduce the issue on one of the WordPress’ stock themes (like Twenty Sixteen) with only ACF activated? If it disappears, then you can activate the theme and plugins one by one to see which one causes the issue.
Also, could you please set WP_DEBUG to true to see any error messages on the page? Please take a look at this page to learn how to set it: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress.
If there’s no error message on the page, could you please check the PHP error log on your server? It usually has more information regarding the issue.
Thanks 🙂
As I mentioned, I’m experiencing this issue with the stock WP theme and only ACF activated. The problem does not seem to be related to the theme or a plugin conflict. I’ll give debugging a shot.
From your error log, the only message related to ACF is this one:
[Mon Dec 19 16:00:49.341427 2016] [:error] [pid 29390] [client 45.76.3.112:59867] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_field() in /nas/wp-content/live/actioncardapp/wp-content/themes/actioncard/header.php on line 63
Could you please open a new ticket and provide temporary admin credentials to your site? If you can create a staging/development site and provide the credentials to that site, that would be better! That way we can do tests without affecting your live site.
You can open a new ticket here: https://support.advancedcustomfields.com/new-ticket. Also, please don’t forget to explain the issue again and provide the link to this thread.
Thanks 🙂
