It could be useful sometimes to have an option for conditional logic that can just check if a field has a value or not rather than only checking for a value match on selects and checkboxes. If I have two fields of varying types where my template can use one value or the other, I’d like to hide the second if the first has any value. It’s tedious to have to set up dummy fields that just toggle the display of other fields. It’s like for the sake of a cleaner UI I have to add more to it which defeats the purpose sometimes.
There have been quite a few requests for extending the conditional logic, I think even for this and I could have sworn that the developer recently said that it’s on his to do list, but I couldn’t find the topic.
