Backend Taxonomy Parent – Child display disappeared

I updated to the lated ACF pro and nesting for taxonomies seems to have disappeared

Used to be

Parent
– child
– child

now

Parent
child
child

There is no visible difference anymore which is frustrating to a client that has a large number of taxonomies.

(note this is using the multi select version. Checkboxes are indented)

Is there documentation to put this back into place as a filter or a reason for its removal in general ?
