Autodraft in frontend form

When i create new post(new form for submitting) is it possible to automatically save the post/acf fields in draft every 2 mins using ajax and update the id and so that when user submit the form it should change the status to pending for approval.

The idea is that the form is long so if user gets disconnected he does not need to fill all details again he can just start from where he lost.
