Auto Sync JSON in Multisite without Theme

I have several sites that use the same theme but I DO NOT want them to share the ACF settings. I do want them auto synced into a site specific directory. Everything here seems to mention this being only a great feature to share complicated ACF settings across many sites.

Local JSON does not allow sharing of values saved in fields, only the field groups that are created.
