Auto-activating on installation

Is there any way to auto-activate the ACF5 Pro version by code when the plugin is enabled?

We keep a local repo of plugins that get installed with and activated with the theme and most of them allow us to insert a line of code in the main plugin file that sets the license key on installation.

I see that there is a bit of documentation at https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/acf-settings/ but it is not totally clear on how to accomplish this.

Any hints?
