Any way to remove some of the default fields when creating my own field type?

  • Similar to the Tab field, I’d like to remove some of the default field options like the instructions, required, and field name. I really just need the label. I tried to duplicate the tab field, but there’s something else going on that removes the fields I couldn’t see. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • This topic is old, but I’m also trying to remove the ‘instructions’ field from my custom field. Have you found a solution? Thanks
