Allow Null not working for existing select fields

Has anyone run into an issue where if you have an existing select field, and toggle Allow Null on, expecting to see -Select- as the first line, nothing happens/it doesn’t show up? If I create a new Select field, no problem, it shows up as expected. But if there are already values there, created with it off, it doesn’t let me change it to allow null and have -Select- show up for none.
Has anyone seen this and any suggested workarounds?

I just tested this and it is working as expected.

It could be a browser cache issue, a plugin conflict or it could be a filter on the field.
