Using Avada to build portfolio pages with dynamic content. Using ACF (not pro) to create custom fields that pull into Avada portfolio page. I can get field types (text, number, image) to show as an option in Avada for dynamic content. When I try other field types (email, link, checkbox, etc.) these field types do not show as an option for dynamic content.
Not sure what is causing the disconnect. Any help would be appreciated.

This would be a question for Avada. ACF does not natively integrate with page builders. The fields that you say work are simple fields with values that can be easily returned using get_post_meta() which is what most builders do unless there is specific integration for ACF. More complex fields will not work this way and require specific integration into the theme or by a plugins or by writing your own code.
