Add Word Count to WYSIWYG Fields

Hi,

I’m trying to get a word count for the WYSIWYG fields on my site so the writers will know in each field they write content that its above the limit I set for them.

Is there anyway to achieve that?

I have Advanced Custom Fields PRO 5.4.4

This is something you would add to TinyMCE rather than ACF. Take a look at this, it should lead you in the right direction. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-display-wp-editor-word-count/
